Fundraising events have changed, with many other things in our personal and professional lives due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Social distancing, wearing masks and financial insecurities have made it harder to host fundrasing events, but charities and non-profits are still in need of funds if not more now, than ever before!
Greenfield’s is hosting Cash For A Cause events to help support local causes and non-profit organizations and would like to reach out to the city of Lincoln to remind people that these fundraising events can still be hosted in a safe way. Our staff takes this virus seriously and take precautions to provide a safe environment, following CDC guidelines and taking extra measures to keep our staff and guests safe during this time.
“At Greenfield’s we have an advantage, in that we have enough space to host these events while maintaining social distancing guidelines, as well as an outdoor patio space available if weather permits,” said Kevin Knudson, owner of Greenfield’s. “We have also adjusted our normal restaurant operating hours, so these events are tailored to the cause we are raising money for.”
Greenfield’s is open for regular restaurant hours 7am-2pm daily, serving up breakfast, brunch and lunch to the city of Lincoln. We host these events in the evening, usually with special menus designed specifically for the event. “This gives us the opportunity to invite the public in to have a great time, and catch dinner and drinks, while creating much-needed income streams for local charities and causes,” said Joe Armstrong, Chief Operating Officer of Greenfield’s.
If you have a Cash For a Cause event please apply by contacting our team at Greenfield’s, call 402-420-3232 for more information. We are looking for Non-Profits or organizations that are wanting to raise funds for a specific cause that will give back or support our local community during this difficult time.
Please consider attending one of our events, also remember that we now offer to-go and curbside options that are also available during these events. Follow us on Facebook and social media to see how we are making an impact on the city of Lincoln.
Greenfield’s launched their new fall menu this week! It features some favorites off the pre-covid menu like the famous skillets. One of the skillets they brought back is the “Nebraska”, a hearty breakfast dish featuring corned beef, seasoned country potatoes, caramelized onion, jack cheddar cheese and two eggs made your way. The only thing that might make that sound better is if it was paired with a delicious bloody mary that was garnished with bacon, celery, and lime…
With fall weather comes soup! This year, Greenfield’s will be offering a soup of the day, featuring one of their amazing made from scratch soups. You can also get a lunch combo that includes a half sandwich or salad.
Would it really be fall without Pumpkin Spice Pancakes? Greenfield’s doesn’t think so! There are some things that will just never change, and the pumpkin spice pancakes topped with your favorite special caramel sauce at Greenfield’s is one of those things you can count on every fall season.
You can now get all your Greenfield’s favorites by dining in 7am-2pm, by pickup or curbside and even by delivery through Metro Dining Delivery and Chow Now.
If you have a special event that needs catering, or a venue that provides enough space for social distancing, you can reserve a date and meal plan by contacting the restaurant at 402.420.3232.
